Bad Ass: Nick Nolte
[This is the first in a series of entries detailing those things that I discover to be bad ass]
Bad Ass Fact: Nick Nolte's middle name is "King."
Now, I did some reading, and I suspect that King is a family name. I've heard of many friends using a surname for a child's middle name. That's cool. But Nick Nolte totally deserves some royal respect. He starred in a movie that scared the hell out of me when I watched it at a (too) young age: Cape Fear. He has the kind of voice that cannot be replicated. And he is experiencing the kind of career resurgence that few can pull off.
And you know what else? People talk crap about Nolte because of this mug shot:
